Length Overall
Mikomoto Island is located entirely in the open ocean. With a lot of thinking about safe voyage and safe diving long and hard, our conclusion is this size. When you actually see it, you’ll understand this size…you’ll be surprised at our boat“FUKUMARU(290)”.
Flying Bridge
The normal bridge (wheelhouse) is on the second floor.
In addition, the another flying bridge is installed on the third floor.
Its height is about 5 meters from the water surface!
While diving, the captain always watch the bubble of the divers who explore underwater from this flying bridge.
To define “height is more higher as view is more clear” It is important to check where the diver is now.
Diver Lift (Boat Lift)
The back of the diving boat is equipped with an Automatic Diver Lift(Boat Lift). You’ll find that the spacious Diver Lift has plenty of room for max 6 divers!
When the divers would like to exit, the Diver Lift will move slowly down about 1m below the surface. On the Diver Lift you remain standing while holding on to the handrail. There’s no need to remove your Fin, BCD, Weight, and the other dive equipment. Once all diver ready to be back safety, the lift will move slowly up.
If you’ve ever had trouble climbing up a ladder, you’ll appreciate this!
Also, In virtue of the Automatic Diver Lift, divers with disabilities are also able to enjoy diving in Mikomoto.
Dive Deck
“290 (FUKUMARU)” has 2 spacious dive deck. On the back side cylinder racks are already installed. On the front side not available, We intentionally did not install it. If there are not so many divers, We can provide very relaxing, comfortable time.
Upper Deck
Dive deck area is on the first floor, Upper deck is located on the second floor.
The pleasant wind from the sea makes you feel so good and refreshed.
Anyways, you can enjoy short 15-minute cruise to Mikomoto Island.
Lower Deck
For the same reason as the hot shower, you couldn’t stand the heat and we installed an air conditioner. Of course, it’s so cool and very comfortable in the summer Peak season.
Hot Shower
From June to October(Called Peak season), the water temperature is about 26-28℃(78-82°F).
But, on the other hand, during the off Peak season, the water temperature is below 20℃(68°F). After diving, you may feel so cold. You can take hot shower and warm your body up immediately!
